In a racing event organised by St Andrew's Secondary, students were challenged to showcase their ability to think out of the box.
Armed with their improvised mini vehicles, students and teachers from 31 schools gathered at St Andrew's Village.
The annual South Zone racing event is divided into two categories, motorised and non-motorised.
Beatty Secondary came out tops in the motorised category which requires students to construct a vehicle with a standard engine to carry a 330ml can over a distance of 15 metres.
St. Andrew's Secondary won the non-motorised category which tests students' ability to find ways to propel a vehicle forward for 5 metres without the use of an engine.
