G.E 2011 in miniature: A little short film project

Yes this election, as i can't vote, i will be doing a short film project which i hope i can finish before i enter National Service.

It is not just about PAP, Worker's Party, SPP or the oppositions.
It is not just the Rallies, or the walkabouts.
It is just the elections from another point of view, a Neutral one that seeing it in Miniature scale.

Now, i have to say i will be only be shooting in the central areas of Toa Payoh-Bishan GRC, Potong Pasir SMC, Ajunied GRC, Hougang SMC, Moulmein-Kallang GRC, Whampoa SMC. Not that i am siding anyone, just that it is not easy for me to shoot in certain areas.

The teaser photo was taken at the WP 's rally at Hougang earlier today, i think the est amount of people attending are in the 30-50,000....
 

crazy japan trip plan

YESH, due to damn cheap air fare @ SGD398.. the plus i managed to find lodging for about ¥2000 (SGD30) per night.. so my idea of a 10 days trip is well only max SGD700 for flight and lodging, AIN"T IT CHEAP...

so ya i looking for someone to fly with me to tokyo in the time period of 25th May to 6/7th June and able to stay for 10 nights... SO YA... if you can email me or tweet me... if you are interested to fly... need to know by tmr night ...

• NICHIJOU

Synopsis [from wiki] : The series follows the lives of a group of high school students and their school. Various oddities and absurdities abound. Despite its bizarre settings and characters, the students still lead normal lives.

Tofu's comment:. Love Kyo-Ani? want some moe-blob? Love how confusing LUCKY STAR WAS? JUST WATCH!

Togusa's comment: I read the Manga ver of Nichijou, it was AWESOME... well i need some Laughs. Dun expect any logic and it is VERY messy, Messier than LUCKY STAR, not as MOE-BLOB as K-On, thank god no bitch as in Haruhi...

• Hanasaku Iroha

Synopsis [from wiki] : Centers around Ohana Matsumae, who is left in the care of her estranged grandmother, following her mother's elopement with her boyfriend. Ohana arrives at her grandmother's country estate to realize she is the owner of a Taishō period onsen ryokan called, Kissuisō. She begins working at Kissuisō, at her grandmother's request, but finds herself at ends with many employees and customers at the inn.

Tofu's comment:. GIRLS in onsen ryokan...mhhh... Art looks good...

Togusa's comment: Harasaku Iroha is an original written screenplay and produced by P.A works. P.A works only made 4 animes themsleves but do work on other titles by other animation house. Love all the monologues in the anime. The Openning is by this new band called nano.RIPE, and i have to say they are good...

• Moshidora

Synopsis [from wiki] :  High school girl Minami Kawashima who manages her school's baseball team using Peter Drucker's Management: Tasks, Responsibilities, Practices to rally her dispirited teammates

Tofu's comment:. IT IS A PRODUCTION IG WORK!!! MUST WATCH, FINALLY THEY ARE GOING  TO AIR IT!!!

Togusa's comment: Moshidora is originally a Novel written by Natsumi Iwasaki and it sold 1.81 mil copies in its first year. Well it is only a 10ep anime, and it looks like a marketing thing for to get more people to read the manga and there is a Live Action Movie of it coming out in June starring one of the AKB48 girls. and well after Kimi ni todoke, Production IG really can pull off doing this kind of animes.

Synopsis: This comedy story of Nanako Matsutaka who has been assigned to the Abnormal Physiology Seminar, even though she herself is a rather ordinary person with no abnormalities in particular. On the other hand, her classmates, including the college upperclassman Komugi Musashi, have just about every abnormal condition to speak of.

Tofu's comment:. The manga was by TARGO, who is now DRAWING THE MANGA VER OF PANTY and STOCKING with GATHERBELT. XD XD and it is abit ECCHI!!!

Togusa's comment: the animation is by Xebec and the OVA back in 2010 was not bad, need another laugh this is it.

THE REST?

• Sket Dance : The story seems boring so i am skipping it. it is basically the GOOD and animat-able ver of PCP from bakuman. you know why PCP did not get a anime....
  
• Deadman Wonderland : story seems good, manga is nice, just that my watch list is abit full, maybe i will watch it when i finish BMT or something.
• Appleseed XIII : OMG APPLESEED!!!: some how i am not interested dun ask why, could be just mood swings.
• Tiger and Bunny : NO SUNRISE, NO MECHA.... if you okay with both than go ahead and watch. I kinda dun like Sunrise after how they ended code gay 2, all so they can make more code gay animes and milk it....
  
• Yondemasu yo, Azasel-san : by Production IG too, quality should be like Kimi ni todoke, but story is abit huh...
  

REALLY THE REST?

• THE LOLI animes eg. : A Channel, Electromagnetic Wave Woman and Adolescent Man. fuck loli really.
  
• the other highschool animes: Ano Hana, Hoshizora e Kakaru Hashi , Sofuteni : first one is a damn boring story, 2nd one is adapted from a H game, last one is trying to be the Tennis k-on... 
  
• mecha animes: sorry I just dun like manly mechas... y? just go and watch GITS: SAC and tell me why.
• Adaption animes: I never read them or play them or what ever, so no interest ATM, it is good i will watch it another time
• Sequels anime: ENOUGH Gintama [actually it is the okay one of the lot] thank god this season dun have much sequels, but really i will not watch them unless i watched the prequels, which obviously i did not coz i dun like them..

now go and enjoy this Spring 2011 season list.  It was better than winter 2011 where the only series I watch was Hourou Musuko [cause i read the manga and the art of the anime was nice, and the seiyuus]. Kimi ni todoke 2 i have not start as i have not finish season 1.

FOOD SHOTS: Houjin 7

Houjin 7 is a small Japanese restaurant hidden away off Adam Road @ NUS Adam Park Guild House. It is abit pricey and upscale.

It is abit pricey and upscale but it is sure is cosy and food is good.

Sashimi set ($28), Sushi set ( $28), Houjin Bento ($32)

And well I think the Houjin Bento is a steal and they do have monthly specials. For example, they had fugu specials in Jan, Nabe in Feb. Service is nice but the only issue i find with the place is that is so out of the way.

Houjin 7 is located @ 7 Adam Park. They are open everyday, lunch is from 11.30 to 2.30pm, Dinner from 6.30pm to 10.30pm.

4 years on...

School is starting again... but well what school?

it is the first time after 6+4+4 years of education, that well i have no classes.

well but really 4 years ago around this time of the year. I just entered Ngee Ann poly, right after some things happened, life was crappy, my photographs were shitty.  and after some digging earlier, i dun even have a single folder of photos from Jan 2007 to early April 07. <strike> maybe i deleted all the photos from that time </strike>
